An early report card on MOOCs - WSJ.com:
The assessment: great potential, but still in need of remedial work.


MOOC alone cannot replace college education, but it poses serious challenge to current high education model. Surely "you can learn almost anything online—if you put your mind to it." That is not all what college is about, but still that is a big chunk of the reason for colleges to exist. Colleges and continuous education has to change because of the threat from MOOC. As for MOOC, the business models are starting to take shape, let's wait another year can check the report card again.
